i read this back in october of last year, but i just now saw this video:

The Group-clan of beauty

it's spot on for me. just substitute the word jane for "true"

i don't think i'm the only one here who is a member of the Beauty clan; lots of artists and freethinkers, pranksters and jokesters.

Laughter is Beauty, too. everyone looks more beautiful with a smile on their faces!

the biggest challenge for me has always been shame. that's how i hide Beauty. recently, i've taken steps toward responsibility of releasing any aspect of shame in Experience. this post is part of that process, so this is about me, and no one else. i always feel vulnerable when i post a piece of work, but again, that's about my own insecurity.

we're meeting this morning with the owner of a family owned bakery about re-doing his shop. he's having to deal with the likes of starbux and panerror bread down the street.

i told this guy a year ago that if the little guys don't start co-operating, sharing ideas, and generally supporting one another (buy local, etc.), we'll all end up looking like this guy:

i don't know about anyone else but i don't look so hot in blue or orange vests. that's not the way i choose to live, not a judgement on anyone who works there. that's there business, i don't patronize that establishment. my life, my choice. i make it while i still have it.

so, i share all this with business owners, about the corporitization and conglomeration of america.

people remember it, and they hire us and not some big firm out of chicago or something.

in all seriousness, i'm like the last of the dying breed: the american middle class. not that we don't need to be taken down a peg, i'm not arguing this or anything else. i'm just saying that there is a current toward returning humanity towards serfdom, and the bourgeoisie (always reviled by the communists and the jesuits, no?), like me, this aspect of Consciousness, on this 3-d level having Experience, are an impediment, an annoyance, a hindrance, a roadblock.

life today, for most
of my fellow americans,
i would imagine,
feels like stepping up
onto the grinding wheel
in the court of the krimson king!

sorry for the detour, but what i'm driving at is this video helped me look at me business, my art, in a new way. it's got to be about more than profit and loss, more than survival. it's got to be about making the world a more beautiful place.

my intention is that the people who come to this bakery have a more beautiful and peaceful experience. everything in this next rendering is intended to create excitement and delight, even the checkboard floor. before i handed these renderings to my partner, i nuetralized all energy other than creating a space of Beauty. we use the checkerboard because the guy who owns the business gets a design effect without spending a fortune. understanding how to use light and color is the most effective and least expensive way to decorate.

we saved the guy a ton of money; that's why we used it.

p.s. those are not flying saucers, those are light fixtures-- i just tried to get a little playful.
